Graduation 2026 -
The school year is quickly passing, and before we know it, we will be celebrating our grade 12 students as they graduate! This letter is to inform you that this year’s convocation will take place at River East Collegiate on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
There will 5 hour-long school-based ceremonies taking place between the hours of 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Groups of graduates for each ceremony will be capped at 60, and this will allow for up to 8 guests per graduate to join us in celebration.
We will be sending out communication in May with additional details about booking your graduate’s ceremony, as well as further details about convocation.
There is a convocation fee of $40 (payable cash/cheque made out to River East Collegiate). This will be collected in the office for all students who are on the Graduation list at this time. These fees help cover the cost of our school-based convocation services.
We are looking forward to celebrating with you!

River East Collegiate class of 2026 is holding a 50/50 raffle!

Tickets are 1 for $5, 3 for $10, 10 for $20 or 50 for $50.

Safe Grad Parent Meeting Info
Hello Class of 2026 families!
We want to thank all those parents who were able to make it out to the Safe Grad Parent meeting yesterday evening. It was great to see so many parents and to have so many volunteers already signed up. We are still in need of Chairs for many of the committees, as well as members. This event couldn’t happen without all of you!
